Mary R had been suffering with a bad earache all week. During the service Mike Betts was led to pray for healing. He encouraged people to place their hands on the area of their body which was causing pain whilst he prayed. Mary’s pain went and has not returned.
Come join with us on Easter Sunday at 10am as we join together for a time of worship and celebration. Today we will be baptising a number of people during the service. Don’t miss this party!
Childrens work provided. Teas and coffee served afterwards.
Please note, there will not be two services this morning.

When there was an invitation to see prayer for healing on Sunday 14th February, I put my hand up. I had pain in my shoulder because I had been carrying heavy stuff around all day on Saturday. I knew it would go away of its own accord in due course, but I thought it would be worth asking for it to be prayed for. Angela put her hand on my shoulder (the warming effect was pleasant in itself). After the prayer, the pain went away and I no longer noticed it. It was only a small thing in the general scheme of people’s sufferings, but the prayer was effective and for that I thank God.

Authentic Jesus Series
Woodwork, nets of fish, bread and wine and bloody crosses. With so many familiar words and stories, it can be hard to grasp just who Jesus of Nazareth really was; how he walked and talked with his friends, how he connected with strangers, how he suffered a brutal capital punishment willingly so that others could walk free.
So just what is it about this middle-eastern carpenter that forms the focus of the lives of the millions of people that call him ‘friend’?
Over the coming weeks, Lowestoft Community Church presents Authentic Jesus – a look at the REAL Jesus Christ. Through the Gospel of Mark – an account of His life – it will seek to answer questions of just who He was, what He did, and what relevance it has to us today.
