Lowestoft Community Church’s website is intended as a valuable tool for the church. We aim for it to provide quick access to information such as service times, location, and contact details. We also want visitors to have easy access to our free library of teaching. And we’d like to be using it to provide up-to-date news of exactly what’s going on with the church, along with all the other background information about who and what we are that you’d expect.
With this in mind, we’re hoping to be making a number of updates to the site over the coming month. We thank you for your patience as these are going on. If you have any feedback at any point, please feel free to email jackiekinney@lcc-lowestoft.co.uk
In the meantime though, we’re pleased to announce two exciting new ways for you to stay up-to-date with the church starting now! Lowestoft Community Church is now linked in with Facebook and Twitter…so if you use either (or both) of these services then please do follow us to get the latest updates straight through to your feed.
You’ll find us on Facebook here, and on Twitter @lcclowestoft
Watch this space for more updates!

Just a reminder of our service plans over Christmas.
On Sunday 26th December (Boxing Day), and Sunday 2nd January, we will only be holding one service in the morning, 10am at The Depot. It’ll be a great chance to all join together!
From Sunday 9th January onwards, we’ll revert back to our 9am and 11am twin services.
Have a great Christmas!

Lowestoft Community Church, as part of the Newfrontiers family of churches, is increasingly working closer with other churches in the East of England, Europe, and Western Canada. These links aren’t defined by geography but by a shared purpose for mission and a sense of close relationship between us. We’re calling this sphere of churches ‘Relational Mission’ – an initiative of Newfrontiers.
For information about the churches working with us in Relational Mission, recordings from the conferences and meetings we’ve held together, and to sign up for monthly email updates, please visit http://www.relationalmission.com
The Heaven Touches East conference will be held at the LCC Depot and we are delighted to welcome Julian Adams and Simon Holley and the team.
It will be open to all churches in the area and numbers will be limited for safety reasons, there will be no provision for children but the creche will be available unsupervised.
For more information and booking details please contact the office.
These evenings are perfect for giving young people an opportunity to find out how Jesus is relevant to their lives today. Costa has been an ideal location as you can ask questions and chat in a relaxed atmosphere whilst chilling out with cake and coffee!
This course is aimed at those in school years 9-13 so if you have friends or family who would be interested please invite them along.
No booking required. Just turn up on the night.
You are warmly invited to join us for a time of worship, prayer and teaching.
Authentic Jesus Series
Woodwork, nets of fish, bread and wine and bloody crosses. With so many familiar words and stories, it can be hard to grasp just who Jesus of Nazareth really was; how he walked and talked with his friends, how he connected with strangers, how he suffered a brutal capital punishment willingly so that others could walk free.
So just what is it about this middle-eastern carpenter that forms the focus of the lives of the millions of people that call him ‘friend’?
Over the coming weeks, Lowestoft Community Church presents Authentic Jesus – a look at the REAL Jesus Christ. Through the Gospel of Mark – an account of His life – it will seek to answer questions of just who He was, what He did, and what relevance it has to us today.
Speaker: Ben Parish
Subject: Mark 16:1-20

Here I will Dwell
God has made some wonderful promises to us in the Bible concerning his desired and promised presence with his people. Additionally God has spoken to us as a church and has given us considerable encouragement that he intends to demonstrate his presence and power amongst us in a variety of ways.
This mini series is a response to the word and prophetic promises that God has given and aims to look at how, we as a local church, can help create an environment whereby God finds it easy to do the things he wants to do. We also hope to add in elements of teaching to stimulate the futher creation of biblical culture among us.
Elevate is a worship event for youth and young adults. It takes place on the first Sunday evening of each month. For more info go to the Elevate page.

You are warmly invited to join us for a time of worship, prayer and teaching.
