How would you like to spend a year in Lowestoft, on the East coast serving God and enjoying our award winning beaches? We are currently looking for workers (aged 18+) to join our growing children and youth team in September 2009.
Should you choose ‘the sunrise coast’ then the kind of things you’ll be involved in are:
Showcase. Our interactive, multimedia schools programme. This will form the primary focus of your work.
Midweek children’s clubs for ages 5-9 with a clear outreach focus
Kidzone Sunday Special our dynamic Sunday morning event for young people Midweek youth groups for ages 10-13 & 14 -18
Elevate. Our monthly youth worship event
Peer-led youth cells
WHO?
We are looking for people with:
A passion about sharing Jesus with young people- Good communication skills and experience of working with children/young people
- Skills in IT, media, sound and lighting or a strong desire to learn such skills (not essential)
- Experience in drama or a musical ability
- Organisation and team skills plus initiative
