What to expect

Attending a new church can be a bit nerve-wracking, whether you’re a regular churchgoer or stepping into one for the first time. But rest assured, we’re here to make you feel right at home.

At Lowestoft Community Church, we believe in embracing everyone just as they are, just as God does. So, there’s no need to stress about dress codes—come as you are, and make yourself comfortable.

As you arrive, our Sunday morning team will be at the front door to warmly welcome you. Inside, they’ll gladly assist you in finding a seat, whether you prefer to be in the midst of the action or nestled at the end of a row.

Our service kicks off at 10:30am, usually with a time of worship. Feel free to join in by standing up and singing along—lyrics will be displayed to guide you. Or, if you prefer, you can stay seated and simply soak in the atmosphere. There’s no pressure; just do what feels right for you.

During the first three Sundays of the month, children aged 3 to year 9 will have their own engaging activities. Our welcome team will happily guide you to the right rooms if you’re new. On typically, the last Sunday of the month, kids remain with us in the main hall. We cherish the lively presence of children and want parents to feel at ease, even if their little ones get a bit noisy.

Afterward, we typically conclude our service with a time of prayer or another song, before inviting everyone to stay for tea and coffee—an excellent opportunity to mingle and connect with others.

If you’d like to learn more or let us know you’re coming so we can personally greet you, feel free to reach out using the form on our contact page. We’re looking forward to meeting you and sharing in this journey of faith together!

Finding community with you.

Life Groups

Community Groups are groups of 6 – 12 people who meet together in person or on-line weekly.

Community Groups gather to discuss the recent teaching from Sunday mornings, to delve into the bible together, to discuss and dig into a life of faith, and to pray.

Running Partners

Much smaller, our running partners are groups of three who intentionally walk alongside each other. Meeting once or twice a month these are relationships that go a little deeper as we walk through life together. This is a place to challenge, encourage and to grow in faith together step by step.
